Linda’s Legacy,
A Tournament of Love, in its first year (2007) became one of, if not the largest charity event of it’s kind in the state
of Florida. This four-day women’s doubles tennis tournament will be held again from September 29 – October
2, 2011 at Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach. Match play will begin on Thursday, September 29th, continue Friday and Saturday and conclude on Sunday
morning with the finals for each bracket. On Saturday evening, the Linda's Legacy Foundation will host a tournament party
at the Marsh Landing clubhouse featuring the sounds of Last 2 Leave, an exciting Jacksonville dance band. The evening,
open to sponsors and their guests, players, and the public for a nominal cost will include live entertainment, beverages and
heavy hors d’oeuvres, silent and live auctions and raffles. All proceeds from this event go to the Linda’s Legacy Foundation to directly benefit local
lung cancer clinical trials.
